water pollution

Water pollution is a major problem. It's leading world wide to many deaths and diseases.Water pollution kills about 14,000 people a day.The main things that lead to water pollution is different kinds of chemicals and pathogens ( a pathogen is a germ that cases disease) and physical or senory changes these changes can elevate temperature.

Solutions
  1. don't use pesticides , when it rains the chemicals wash into the storm sewers or get into the ground
  2. pick up waste so it doesn't go into lakes or streams.
  3. don't pollute the land because if you pollute the land it can very easily get into water.

Burning fossil fuels

Fossil fuels or mineral fuels are formed by many diffrent kinds of natural resources such as anaerobic decompositon of buried or dead organisms. It takes millions of years to result into fossil fuels. The fossil fuels contain a very high amount of carbon and hydrocarbons. The burning of fossil fuels produces about 21.3 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per a year. There is about 10.65 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide in the atmospher.Burning fossil fi\uels is pollutting our oceans, river and lakes.

Solutions

  1. walk or bike rather that driving a car.

  2. If you need to drive some were try to car pool.

  3. Unplug apliances when not in use.

solutions to producing to much waste

1.Recycle things that can be recycled like paper and plastic.

2. BUy durable products rather than disposable one like dipers.

3. Dont buy thIngs you dont need.

producing to much waste

When the garbage truck picks up your garbage it goes to a landfill or dump and sits there for many years! Methane gas, leachate(Leachate is the liquid that drains or 'leaches' from a landfill it can varie widely regarding the age of the landfill and the type of waste that it contains. It can usually contain both dissolved and suspended material and different kinds of loose garbage). All of this can come form landfills or garbage dumps which are the three main concerns associated with producing to much waste.
